Below, are the responses to the most frequent questions that patients or potential patients ask.

It is normal and encouraged for patients to ask many questions when choosing to work with a psychologist or social worker. Please get in touch if you have additional questions.

What are your fees?

We offer a free 30-minute phone or Zoom consultation to provide information about our practice, answer your questions, and determine appropriateness of service. Prices for services vary by location and service (e.g., assessment, therapy, forensic services), and information about pricing will be provided during the consultation. Additionally, we provide clients with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of our services prior to your first appointment and any time you or your child’s treatment plan is updated.

Are our sessions private?

We take your privacy very seriously and work diligently to protect it. We provide all clients with a Notice of Privacy Practices prior to the first appointment, which tells you how we handle your medical information, when and how we might share it with others, and how you can see it. We want you to know all of this before starting services with our practice so that you can make the best decisions for yourself and your family. If you have any questions or want to know more about anything in this notice, please ask us for more explanations or details

How long is treatment?

Treatment will vary based on the client and presenting problem. Generally, we embrace time limited short term treatments and do not like to have clients in treatment for years.

Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance but will give you an itemized receipt which you can submit to your insurance company and get reimbursed.
